Green synthesis of copper nanoparticles by using aqueous extract of Ocimum sanctum leaves and its antibacterial activity

Nanoparticles are described as substances with at least one exterior dimension between 1 and 100 nm. can be produced by physical, chemical, or biological processes. Nanoparticle production techniques include chemical reduction, electrochemistry, photochemistry, physical vapour condensation. However, some of these methods very expensive risky. The method for creating nanoparticles is simple, quick, inexpensive, dependable, risk-free in comparison to technologies. Our current study documented the green synthesis copper using Ocimum sanctum (Tulsi) leaves extract their antibacterial activity. We have used UV-vis spectroscopy characterise nanoparticles. contained alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins that might serve capping stabilising agents sanctum-copper In form a zone growth inhibition, demonstrated promising effects against all chosen bacteria. It was discovered nanoparticle formation increased along reaction time sulphate. inhibitory action found increase concentration sulphate solution. effectiveness different volumes reducing ions assessed, its Escherichia coli confirmed.
